Engine Breakers is an 8-directional action arcade game with a striking mech theme and visuals inspired by classic games through pre-rendered techniques. Players clear stages by parrying enemy attacks, embracing the core philosophy: “The brave get more.” Aggressive play leads to greater rewards. Developed using a custom-built DirectX-based 2D engine, the game currently features one playable stage. To enhance the core parry mechanics, we are actively refining hit detection and parry timing for a more satisfying combat feel. With a focus on delivering precise control and immersive action, development continues toward a polished, high-impact gameplay experience.
